Asia Education Resource Consortium (AERC): The Asia Education Resource Consortium (AERC) exists to meet the educational needs of many expatriate families living in Asia. It provides important support and targeted services through a network of regional conferences, family consultations, testing services, resource centers, and online resources. Members can learn more about AERC by logging in and visiting the various pages of this web site.
East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS): Objectives and Purposes: to promote intercultural understanding and international friendship through the activities of member schools; to broaden the dimensions of education of all schools involved in the Council in the interest of a total program of education; to advance the professional growth and welfare of individuals belonging to the educational staff of member schools; to facilitate communication and cooperative action between and among all associated schools; to cooperate with other organizations and individuals pursuing the same objectives as this council.
Empower Ministries: Ann Maura Hinton is the executive director of Empower Ministries. Empower Ministries offers each family a Bridge Plan to equip, strengthen and shepherd children from frustration to hope by identifying academic, relational and emotional goals. The Bridge Plan includes academic/cognitive goals and emotional/relational goals. Basic screening helps to formulate a foundation for these goals. Families that may benefit from these services may struggle with: attachment issues, learning differences, behavioral issues, anxiety or depression.
