ABOUT MEMBER CARE & DEVELOPMENT A Ministry of Mission to the World, Presbyterian Church in America(PCA)
To see MTW members thriving in their relationship with God, their families and friends, their teams, and the ministries in which they serve.
We build relationships with members through which we prepare, care for, and assist to work faithfully in their calling. Our goal is to raise up members who love the Lord, help them understand and effectively apply the gospel of grace in their personal lives and ministry, and enhance their sustainability and longevity as they take the gospel of the Kingdom throughout the world.
Gospel driven: God’s gracious provision for us in Christ provides the empowerment and content for all that we do.
Master Care: Our desire to provide member care is never a substitute for embracing the reality of God’s ongoing personal care for His people.
Self-Care: Encouraging personal responsibility for self-care is the beginning of all member care.
One-another: Member care should begin locally, where the member works and lives, caring for one another and then expand to the broader circles of resources in the mission. Member Care and Development will work collaboratively with the field to determine and help provide those resources.
